Product Description
Plain Galvanized Sheet is hot-dip galvanized steel supplied in flat, uncoated, unpainted form - no pre-painted film, no PVC lamination, no decorative print. The surface carries the natural zinc finish (regular or big spangle) at 20–300g/m², over a thickness range of 0.085–1.2mm and width of 700–1250mm. Because the surface is left plain, it is the ideal substrate for downstream coating lines - powder coating, liquid painting, PVDF, or plastic coating - where the buyer wants full control over the final finish. The plain surface also means no sacrificial factory film to peel off before fabrication.
Coaters and paint shops care about two things on a galvanised substrate: clean zinc surface and consistent coating weight. Our plain galvanized sheets are handled and bundled to keep oil and fingerprint contamination low, and our own hot-dip galvanising line lets us match zinc weight to the buyer's required paint system and local climate rather than shipping an off-the-shelf grade.

Applications
Powder Coating and Painting Lines
The plain zinc surface takes standard pretreatment (phosphating or chromate-free) without a factory film to strip, improving paint adhesion and line speed.
Plastic Dipping and PVDF Coating
Coaters who apply their own polymer or PVDF finish use plain GI as the substrate, because pre-painted stock cannot be recoated reliably.
DIY and General Fabrication
Buyers who prefer to prime and paint on site receive a clean galvanised base, avoiding the cost and lead time of pre-painted coil they do not need.
Customization
Plain galvanized sheets can be customised in thickness, width, length, and zinc coating weight to match the buyer's coating process. Spangle type (Regular or Big) is selectable. OEM and ODM orders are accepted; production follows customer drawings or samples, with first-piece confirmation before batch runs.
Packaging & Transportation
Plain sheets are bundled with waterproof film and rubber spacers to prevent surface scratching and white rust during transit, then strapped with steel bands. Wooden reinforcement secures bundles inside the container. Pallet loading is available, and loading videos are supplied for each export shipment. EXW is our preferred trade term.

Q1: Are these sheets painted or coated on your side?
No. Plain galvanized sheets leave our factory with only the zinc layer - no paint, film, or lamination. Buyers apply their own powder coat, paint, or plastic coating downstream.
Q2: Can you match the zinc coating to our paint specification?
Yes. Tell us the required coating weight (within 20–300g/m²) and your target environment; our technical team will recommend a matching grade and review your drawing before production.
Q3: How fast can I get custom samples?
Custom samples take 3–7 days after drawing confirmation. The sample cost is borne by the buyer and is refunded or credited against large repeat orders.
