Product Description
Zinc Roofing Sheet is a hot-dip galvanized steel panel whose performance is defined by its zinc coating rather than by paint or polymer. Roll-formed from GI coil, the panel carries a sacrificial zinc layer of 20 to 300 g/m² that corrodes before the underlying steel, slowing rust spread even when the surface is scratched on site. Available in Regular Spangle or Big Spangle finishes and thickness from 0.085 mm to 1.2 mm, it is selected wherever salt air, industrial fumes, or humid climates shorten the life of ordinary steel roofs. The corrugated or trapezoidal profile is customized to the project pitch, and cut length is matched to the building width to minimize cross-seams.
Because coastal and industrial sites demand different zinc levels, our technical team advises on the appropriate g/m² coating per destination climate before production, rather than selling a one-size-fits-all stock coating. Combined with incoming material testing and in-process corrosion-control checks, this regional coating selection helps a Zinc Roofing Sheet meet the service life expected in Southeast Asian coastal towns and Central Asian industrial zones.

Applications
Coastal and Seaside Roofing - The higher zinc coating weights protect against salt-laden air that quickly perforates uncoated or lightly painted steel, making Zinc Roofing Sheet suitable for shoreline warehouses, fish-processing plants, and coastal resorts.
Industrial Plant and Mill Roofing - Factory atmospheres carry chemical and moisture loads; the sacrificial zinc layer absorbs early corrosion, reducing the frequency of roof repairs on refineries, smelters, and food-processing plants.
Humid-Tropical Warehouse Roofing - In high-rainfall regions, the zinc coating delays red rust formation on the underside and overlaps, extending maintenance intervals compared with black-steel sheeting.

Customization
We tailor zinc coating weight (20–300 g/m²), spangle type, profile, thickness (0.085–1.2 mm), and cut length to the corrosion class of the destination site. OEM/ODM accepted. Our engineers review drawings and recommend a coating grade based on the project's coastal, industrial, or inland location before order confirmation.
Packaging & Transportation
Export packing: waterproof film wrap, rubber spacers between bundles, steel band strapping, and internal wooden bracing. Accessories are bagged separately, and pallet loading is available. A loading video is recorded for each container. EXW is our preferred trade term.
FAQ
Q1: Which zinc coating weight is best for coastal roofing?
Higher g/m² coatings are recommended for coastal and industrial exposure. Our technical team reviews the destination climate and project design, then specifies the coating weight; typical ranges are 20–300 g/m² and selected per contract.
Q2: Does the zinc coating protect scratched areas?
Yes. Zinc is sacrificial: it corrodes preferentially and protects the exposed steel around a scratch or drill hole, which is why galvanized roofing outlasts painted steel once the coating is damaged.
Q3: Can I inspect the coating before shipment?
Yes. We support third-party inspection, including zinc coating weight, thickness, and dimensions. For export orders, 100% inspection before packing can be arranged by contract.
