Vehicle Restraint System for Bridge Edges
The Anti Collision Bridge Barrier is a complete system designed for vehicle restraint on bridge structures. It can include steel horizontal beams, posts, connecting brackets, bridge deck anchors, terminal treatments, and transition structures. It may also be combined with a concrete base according to the approved project design.
When a vehicle leaves the normal traffic area of the bridge deck, the barrier must help restrict vehicle penetration, control structural deformation, and guide the direction of the vehicle after contact.
Unlike a general pedestrian railing, this system cannot be evaluated only by the thickness or strength of one steel component. Beam continuity, post spacing, anchoring method, installation height, terminal sections, and transition components must all be considered as part of the complete configuration.

Barrier Forms and Bridge Connections
Available barrier forms include steel beam-and-post structures, steel and concrete combined structures, and other project-specific designs. The common system height is 1000–1600 mm, and post spacing is normally 1000–2000 mm.
Bridge deck connection methods can include embedded anchors, chemical anchors, embedded steel plates, or dedicated connecting components.
Depending on the approved design and evaluation system, a project may refer to JTG classifications, MASH test levels, or EN 1317 levels. However, such information should only be presented when it corresponds exactly to the supplied system.
If the beam specification, post spacing, anchors, installation height, or bridge deck connection is changed, the original test or engineering evaluation must be reviewed again. A similar appearance does not confirm the same protection performance.

Engineering Review and Production Control
The technical design team can review bridge structural drawings, barrier system drawings, and purchasing lists. The review may cover beams, posts, base plates, anchors, and transition components.
The factory has cutting, stamping, welding, hot-dip galvanizing, and powder-coating capabilities. Different components can be produced for straight bridges, curved bridges, expansion-joint areas, central medians, and bridge approach connections.
For customized projects, the team checks the material, component thickness, welding requirements, base plate holes, and anti-corrosion process. First-piece confirmation is used to control batch consistency.
Components can be numbered according to the bridge section or installation sequence. Installation drawings, anchoring position information, and classified packing can also be prepared to reduce identification work at the construction site.

Inspection and Contract Requirements
The Anti Collision Bridge Barrier is suitable for highway bridges, large river-crossing bridges, urban elevated bridges, heavy-traffic bridges, overpasses, deep-valley bridges, and other locations where the result of a vehicle leaving the bridge would be serious.
Production normally requires about 10–15 days after technical confirmation. Large projects can be delivered in batches according to the construction plan. Photos and videos can be provided during production.
Buyers may inspect materials, dimensions, welds, anchoring components, and anti-corrosion coatings during production or before shipment. Third-party inspection can also be arranged.
Quality responsibility, warranty scope, inspection methods, conditions for using impact-related documents, and delivery stages should be clearly stated in the contract.
