Galvanized strip for cable tray is a purpose-built hot-dip galvanized feedstock used in the roll-forming and fabrication of cable tray, ladder tray, and related electrical infrastructure components. The strip is slit to widths matched to specific tray profiles - side rails, rungs, and covers - and supplied in coil form for continuous feeding into roll-forming lines. Base material is hot-dip galvanized steel (GI) with thickness 0.085-1.2mm and zinc coating 20-300g/m² in regular spangle finish. The zinc layer is the critical functional layer here: cable trays are installed in commercial buildings, industrial plants, and data centers, where long-term corrosion protection preserves the mechanical integrity of the tray and the safety of the cables it supports. A consistent strip width and burr-controlled slit edge ensure that formed tray rails and rungs fit together without binding.
Because cable tray products are shipped to regions with different humidity, salinity, and industrial atmospheres, our technical team optimizes zinc coating weight and material grade according to the buyer's destination, rather than supplying a generic coating. For export orders, we support third-party inspection and 100% pre-packing inspection by contract, so that the strip arriving at a cable tray manufacturer's floor has already been verified for coating, thickness, and width before container loading.

Customization
Width is customized to the customer's cable tray profile drawing, together with thickness (0.085-1.2mm) and zinc coating (20-300g/m²). Material grade can be optimized by destination climate. OEM/ODM from drawings and samples is supported, with first-piece confirmation before batch production.
Packaging & Transportation
Export packaging uses waterproof film wrapping with rubber spacers between coils, secured by steel band strapping. Wooden reinforcement is applied inside containers to prevent movement, and accessories are packed separately. Coils can be loaded onto pallets upon request. A loading video is recorded for every export shipment. EXW is our preferred trade term; both RMB and USD settlement are accepted.
