Product Description
Galvanized Sheet for Scaffolding is hot-dip galvanized flat sheet supplied as the raw material for scaffold planks, walkway boards, and toe boards used on construction sites. It is produced in thickness 0.085–1.2mm and width 700–1250mm from GI strip with a zinc coating of 20–300g/m². The flat, rigid sheet is cut to plank length, then roll-formed or welded into scaffold boards with anti-slip profiles and end hooks. The hot-dip zinc layer is what allows scaffolding products to stay outdoors through wet weather and repeated site use without painting or frequent rust treatment.
Scaffolding boards are a safety-critical item, so coating uniformity and sheet flatness matter. Our in-house hot-dip galvanising line applies consistent zinc weight across every bundle, and we can align sheet dimensions and coating grade with the local scaffolding standard - South-East Asian, Central Asian, or African market - based on the buyer's drawing before production.

Applications
Scaffold Planks and Walkway Boards
Cut and roll-formed into steel scaffold boards, the galvanised surface withstands rain, cement splash, and repeated handling without flash rust, which is why steel planks outlast wooden ones on site.
Toe Boards and Edge Protection
Flat galvanized sheets are sheared to toe board dimensions and fixed to scaffold frames, providing a low-cost, corrosion-resistant edge barrier that passes site safety inspection.
Formwork and Construction Decking
Heavier-gauge sheets are also used as temporary decking panels for formwork and platform access, where reusability and outdoor durability are required.
Customization
Thickness, width, plank length, and zinc coating weight are all customisable to the buyer's scaffold design. OEM and ODM are supported - send a drawing or sample plank and our engineering team will review feasible forming and coating parameters before production. First-piece samples are approved before batch runs.
Packaging & Transportation
Scaffolding sheet bundles are wrapped in waterproof film, separated by rubber spacers, and strapped with steel bands. Wooden battens reinforce each bundle inside containers to prevent movement during ocean freight. End hooks or formed parts, if supplied, are packed separately. Pallet loading is available, and loading videos are recorded for every shipment. EXW is our preferred trade term.
FAQ
Q1: Which zinc coating weight do you recommend for scaffolding?
It depends on the local climate and required service life. We can match the coating within 20–300g/m² to your market and drawing; our technical team will suggest a grade after reviewing your specification.
Q2: Do you export to scaffolding projects in South-East Asia, Central Asia, and Africa?
Yes. Our existing export markets cover these regions, and we hold import and export qualifications. We can align sheet dimensions and packaging with your local scaffolding standard.
Q3: Can third parties inspect the sheets before container loading?
Yes. We accept SGS, BV, or other third-party inspection, and for export scaffolding orders we can run a 100% visual check before packaging. A loading video is also recorded for each shipment.
