Points to Note During Bridge Railing Construction
1. Accurate information on all facilities, especially the precise location of pipelines buried in the roadbed, is crucial during railing construction. No damage to underground facilities is permitted during construction. If underground communication lines, drainage pipes, or insufficient backfill depth above culverts are encountered, the position of the posts should be adjusted, or the post fixing method should be changed.
2. If a post is driven too deep, it must not be pulled out for correction. All posts must be pulled out, their foundation re-compacted, and then driven back in, or the post position should be adjusted.
3. Bridge railings should be equipped with flanges. Pay attention to the positioning of the flanges and the control of the top elevation of the posts.
